Three Drops of Gold for Lucanian Honey
An important award for Lucanian honey at the 40th edition of the “Three Drops of Gold 2020” competition.
Lucanian honey continues to carve out an important space in the Italian honey scene thanks to numerous recognitions and prestigious national awards. During the 40th edition of the “Three Drops of Gold 2020” event, held in Castel San Pietro (Bologna) and organized by the National Honey Observatory, 17 Lucanian honeys were awarded the “Golden Drops,” demonstrating the value of Lucanian honey.
Territory, quality, and flavor are all found in our honey, a true wildflower honey from the Lucanian mountains, sourced from nectars (and from substances left by aphids, in the case of honeydew) of flowers and plants that color the meadows and mountain pastures, in a pure and uncontaminated environment.
